Just got back in from checking most of the lakes and ponds on campus after Larry called me and did not find a Booby =( We did however pick up some cool birds while out looking for the Booby, best bird being a calling Least Flycatcher!

There are two more bodies of water on campus that we were unable to check as it would have taken too long to reach. Thanks for the heads up Larry.

Here is the list: (a couple of the birds were seen yesterday)

Pied-billed Grebe
Anhinga
Great Egret
Tri-colored Heron
White Ibis
Turkey Vulture
Cooper's Hawk
Red-shouldered Hawk
American Coot
Ring-billed Gull
Mourning Dove
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Least Flycatcher
Eastern Phoebe
Tree Swallow
Blue Jay
N. Mockingbird
Gray Catbird
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
BG Gnatcatcher
B & W Warbler
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
E. Starling

Nature is Awesome
