Isn't Pipeline amazing? I was there in August before school started, and birded Pipeline for two days, as well as the nature center nearby (had Blue Cotinga at the top of the tower). As far as convenience, nothing is easier than flying into Panama City, renting a car, and driving forty-five minutes to the best birding location in Central America.
