Toe called to let me know he saw Black Scoters so I made my way over and found two fairly quickly. Even though they were pretty far out I was able to see well enough to observe the shape, how it sat in the water, head, bill and the yellow knob on the bill.
Yeah...
Dade County bird 272 for 2009!
Also saw Red-breasted Merganser and lots of DC Cormorants.
