Yesterday evening at Lucky Hammock there was a stunning LARK SPARROW perched in the vegetation opposite the hammock. A FOS Indigo Bunting was at the NE corner the hammock as well.

This morning hundreds of Bobolinks were flying over and into the fields around the hammock. Pectoral Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Lesser Yellowlegs, and over a hundred Killdeer were in the fields on the opposite side of SR9336, and 2 Solitary Sandpipers were seen in the fields on both sides of the road.
Two empids at LH looked "Leastish", and one at the Annex lacked any prominant eyering so I'm leaning towards Traill's. None of the three uttered a sound, unfortunately. At the annex was also a beautiful Louisiana Waterthrush along with the usual assortment of Ovenbirds, Am. Redstarts, and now-more-Common Yellowthroats. E. Kingbirds remain in significant numbers throughout the area and in Everglades NP.

cheers

David
