Walking on the Northshore of Lake Ontario, in the Scarborough area of Toronto, on the boardwalk, I noticed about 12 olive green birds with black faces, and having a irrisidence in the neck and back area.They were busy finding food in the beachsand.
They were not affraid, because I walked within 3' from them.
It was like I did not exist. They where the size of sparrows, but fatter. I think these birds were passing thru towards the south. Looking them up in a birdbook, I found them to be >black faced grassquits<. They are not supposed the be in Canada.
