Today I took a mid-morning walk down the Matheson service road and saw the following migrants:
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (lots)
Chimney Swift
Northern Waterthrush
Louisiana Waterthrush
Ovenbird
American Redstart
Prarie Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
I've been out birding several times this week, and although it is still early in migration, the number of birds seen hasn't been very impressive given the unsettled weather.
