Hey birders! Today I went to Crandon. I finally finished doing my homework and had a little while to go. When I was getting there I got some swallows and a Red-shouldered Hawk. In Crandon Beach I saw two Lesser Black-backed gulls(lifer), Laughing Gulls, Royal terns, Sandwish terns(1),Brown Pelicans, Magnificent Frigatebirds(3!), Double-crested Cormorant (some). In the beach I got some shorebirds but not as I expected. O well, At least I got some lifers for me. Sorry, I didin't bring a notebook to count how many birds I saw. I saw Willet(1), Least Sandpiper(some), Spotted Sandpiper(couple), Sanderling (some), and Ruddy Turnstone(1). Next time I'll try when its 100% low tide. Great birding!
