They are on the way down; reports from further up the state are looking good. They are reporting groups of 8, 10, 20, and even 50 so hold tight they will be here. We have been tracking some movement on the radar during the day in search of diurnal raptor movement. For the last two days we have been seeing some groups (possibly STKI) traveling south along the west coast. Badbirdz2 will be up and running in the next couple of days, getting ready for the birds.
As far as the local population of STKI they seem to be down from years past.

Ps. Migrant movement has become apparent on the radar for the last three days; birds are starting to head south. Last night there were pulses picked up by the Georgia and JAX radars, with a high DbZ (density) value we expect new migrants in the Northern portions of the state. Don t forget to share your migrant sightings on Badbirdz2, keeping Noel s dream alive one migrant at a time!
