Everyone must get together and fight these closures. The parks and nature centers are a vital part of Dade County. We need people like Roger Hammer around to teach the youth which are growing up watching nature unfold from a computer screen. The nature centers are instrumental in exposing kids to the outdoors as many parents do not teach their children about nature and all it has to offer.
Has the TAS been asked to defend the closures? or Has the city decided to do what they please, once again?
We hope something can be done; we will be on the front lines of this issue! We believe that the future of Dade County needs places as Castellow, Barnes and Sadowski. We ask all of you to help stop the closures. Email, call, fax or all three please let them know that this is a great mistake!
