For further reference, Steve Gross and myself were in the area from 9:30AM to 7PM. No bird. At one point there were well over 100 Collared Doves, a few Mourning and Ground Doves, and one White-winged feeding on the seed. They fed all day until about 5PM when they just left. After that we had about 18 Mourning's on the wires. Out of frustration (and the need for A/C), we occasionally checked the surrounding neighborhoods - we found two feeders that had doves on Gulfview and Palm Dr.
I guess we should have left Tampa an hour earlier! Interested to know if it is seen again this AM.
