Hey birders! I've had some great migrants yesterday and today. Yesterday I went Matrheson Hammock and birded the coast and the mangroves. In the coast I saw a Little Blue Heron, Reddish Egret, White Ibis, Royal Tern, juvenile Laughing Gulls, Brown Pelicans and Double-crested Cormorant. Then I went to the mangroves at the end of the road. I got 1 female Redstart, 1 Northern Waterthrush, and 2 Prairie Warbler. There was also a Red-shouldered Hawk calling.
Later on that day I went to a party west of Miami around krome avenue. I got tons of Barn Swallows, possibly other swallow species, but coulden't id them cause I forgot my binoculars. There were hundreds of them there!
Today I found 5 species of warblers! In my yard I got 2 gnatcatchers and a Northern Waterthrush. Around my neighborhood I got redstarts, prairie warbler, yellow-throated warbler(lifer), and Northern Parula. These are the totals for today:

American Redstart: 2- one male and female
Northern Parula: 2- both juvenile
Prairie Warbler: 1
Northern Waterthush: 1
Yellow-throated Warbler: 1
