We have had more than squat or sparse or single. the past few days we have had male redstarts and females, black throated blues, ovenbirds, blackpolls, and black and white warblers...not many but enough to be interesting...and it is spring...we have nesting cardinals, nesting screech owls, nesting wood ducks, nesting great crested flycatchters(for the first time) and baby cardinals...our buntings and hummingbirds have left...but the butterflies are on the move and I just saw a rabbit by the car.
