The Arctic Tern was still at West Lake Park on Thursday (May 17)
I got good views of it perched on floating debris with a few turtles,
near the fenced-off beach. It later flew and circled the north end of the lake a few times,
giving us good views. Also on hand were a few roseate spoonbills and black-necked stilts.
It was on to Fort Lauderdale beach, but the only birds to be found were three sanderlings.
