Yesterday was markedly slower birdwise than 4/22. Today I visited Sadowski once more. I saw five male Cape May warblers and one Northern Parula. A flock of about 75 Cedar-wax Wings encircled the area several times and finally landed in the tallest trees by the bird feeders. A Red-shouldered Hawk flew overhead chased by smaller birds. A small group of Chevroned-winged Parakeets flew by also. Quite a few Catbirds,Cardinals,Bluejays and Red-bellied Woodpeckers were very busy and vocalizing. The low humidity and cloudless blue sky made for a very nice visit.
