Like Toe, I am seeing a definite increase in warblers and numbers of birds. I went to Sadowski and A.D. Barnes park today. I did not see the nice Swainsons or Blue-winged Warblers but had the more common ones with increased numbers. The trees seemed to be singing! At Sadowski Park, I saw a Rose-breasted Grosbeak and saw a Magnolia Warbler. At A.D. Barnes I saw two Great-crested Flycatchers. Both places are definitely worth visiting. At A.D. Barnes between the cabins labeled east and west is a small group of trees. Go to the back of these trees to the chain link fence(it's not far). Next to the fence is a fig tree loaded with berries. Even though it was around noon, there was a continual influx of warblers etc. in this tree. This is the most heavily fruited tree I have seen on the property. The best part is that it is not too big, which allows close observation of the birds. I also saw a Oven bird at Sadowski. Spring migration has arrived in Miami!
