Migration has begun; we just have had the luck of being unlucky. Tomorrow seems to be out of the question since South winds around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph are forecasted. Birds can easily overshoot us with that kind of a tail wind. Things start to look better for Wednesday morning; with a chance of showers and thunderstorms at night and a Southwest wind between 8 and 10 mph. But Thursday may be the day to get our first real wave of migrants, due to a West wind between 11 and 13 mph through out the night and a North wind around 11 mph in the morning. If birds take to the wing Wednesday night they will make an easterly jog into Miami due to the West winds. North winds in the morning means the birds will have to fly into the wind which will slow them down considerably; making our chances of getting a nice variety of migrants around a lot higher.
