This is the first of the parula visits and it was chased away by a redstart.
I think the bird bath needs a little "decor" and for sure a drip hose.
The torch wood (Amyris elemifera L) is now in ripening seed and the mockingbirds are hitting that like a truck drivers at the Cracker Barrel. I definitely recommend that tree for backyard planting. (Thank you Joyce Gann and late George Allen for the recommendation)
