During May-July 1985 we saw (perhaps) the same bird about 80% of the time that we used the bayside cut-through along east end of Lower Matecumbe. The bird favored the flats just south of Lignum Vitae Key and was written up that summer in the _Islander_ newspaper. I *think* the bird was submitted to the FOSRC and was either not accepted or accepted and later retracted.
