I seem to recall that you could get on one of the tour boats out of Flamingo (in ENP) and motor out around the mangrove islets to see the "pink" Ibis.
Not actually a Scarlet Ibis, but a hybrid Scarlet/Ibis.
This was many moons ago of course and no help in finding a Scarlet Ibis.
