OOPS Sorry, had I known they were invasive I never would have advocated planting white orchid trees. In my yard it is the purple Hong Kong orchid trees that are terribly invasive. The white ones seem well-behaved. Either way, I should have advocated planting native firebush and other hummingbird-friendly landscaping.
