I spent Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday mornings birding Snake Bight Trail in Everglades National Park in search of some of the less common passerines. The trail this time of year is excellent. There were few noticeable insects, and I did not feel the need to wear repellant on any of the days I was out there. Robin Diaz joined me on Sunday morning and Brian Rapoza joined me on Thursday morning. Here's the list of most of the species seen. The PINE SISKINS were seen ONLY THIS MORNING/THURSDAY:
