The gull in the photo was a bit smaller than the Laughing Gulls, The white extends further up the nap, the bill is smaller than Laughing Gulls, the white tips of the primaries showed more than on the laughing gulls and the white crescents around the eyes are more prominent than on a Laughing Gull.
I've been wrong in the past many, many.... many times, but I'm pretty confident on this one. I'm open to hear why it isn't a Franklin's...
