It's all relative to where you're referring to when you list these species as not being "rare enough" in winter. Obviously, for many of them, if they were to be found anywhere in SW Florida i.e. Collier/Lee/Hendry/Charlotte Counties -- they would be rare. As I'm sure you're aware, the East Coast of South Florida which is only separated by 100 miles or so is very different from coastal SW Florida for many species, particularly passerines. BTW, we usually get one or two Magnolia Warblers every winter at places like the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk, Kirby Storter Boardwalk & Oil Pad Rd. in the Ten Thousand islands NWR -- all in Collier County. One was seen a few weeks ago at Big Cypress Bend.
