It is normally present in winter in small numbers (uncommon, sometimes rare). In fact, I normally don't accept winter Magnolia reports for FFN/NAB because it is too common in winter.
For those that don't know, the warblers in that category are: Orange-crowned Warbler, Northern Parula, Magnolia Warbler, Cape May Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Myrtle Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Pine Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Palm Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, American Redstart, Worm-eating Warbler, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat. Chat and Louisiana Waterthrush are borderline.
