I posted last week (1/19) about a sighting that's over a week old now, but I'd like to respond directly to the questions & comments today:
It is Boca Chica Rd. & then out to the jetty rocks.
When I saw it, the bird flew in mid-afternoon, around 3 PM, settled down on the rocks, preened a bit and then drifted into a semi-dozing state, perhaps just digesting a nice meal, but he was there when I left a half an hour later.
