According to Stevenson and Anderson, there are specimen records from Miami-Dade. I don't have details, but much of the collecting was done in the 19th century. There's a report of a nest at Royal Palm in 1917, but S&A consider it "doubtful". There was also a specimen from Chatham Bay in Monroe county taken in July 1888.
