Shortly after that thought Ponce de León said "take two of those with us before they are almost gone" Later on their voyage back to Puerto Rico, they realized that the Ivory-billed Woodpeckers were tearing the Santa Maria de la Consolacion apart but by then it was too late, the ship was taking on water. Whamp, Whamp!
