We had one Short-eared Owl fly right through our headlights on Dec 31st it was awesome. The next day we could hear an Owl that was not a Barn, GH or a Barred calling out west of the road. Just like your experience yesterday, we were on our way back from the missile base when we made the right and almost exactly at the turn the Short-eared Owl came out of the darkness and flew right in front of us. Awesome bird to see in Dade County, we also had one Lesser Nighthawk and 4 Whip-poor-will on the first.
Yesterday after Toe left we had one more Barn Owl grace us with its presence, amasing!
Our brew of choice was a Great Divide St. Bridget s Porter; a smooth and elegant brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget s is a must have beer for all porter lovers.

Nature is Awesome
