Have buntings in your yard? Participate in this feeder count.
This was sent to me from John Ogden and is something he is now doing from his home where he gets 25-40 each season.

I had a pair last year, so I have a long way to go to attract that many.

On another note...

If you see any poaching of these beautiful animals please call Florida Fish and Wildlife officer Sean Waggoner 786-255-3949

Believe it or not it is a problem. I was shocked to find this out.

Thanks and see you out there birding! I will try to learn more over the Thanksgiving holiday when I take a break for the weekend and head out to the South West coast.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Don t feel forced to eat a bird, if you would rather have something different :)

Traditions can be reset.

Don't forget our wonderful January Speakers, George Archibald and Paul Gray! (See our newsletter for more details or find it online, www.tropicalaudubon.org, under newsletter.

We take a break in December, but could use help trying to hold the line on Parkland, e-mail me if you have spare time to help us, tropicalaudubon@gmail.com

Thank you for your continued support.
Laura
