I was out on Daggerwing's boardwalk this morning (10:30-11:30) and I only had time for the trail that leads to the observation tower and there were a slew of birds: Imm. Black-crowned Night Heron in addition to the regular herons/egrets, RS Hawk, Osprey, several A. Kestrels, E. Kingbirds, Loggerhead Shrikes, a ton of Downy Wodpeckers, N. Flicker, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, bunches of BG Gnatcatchers and warblers (I don't know all the fall warblers well enough to list them, but for sure there were Palms and Black & Whites), to name a few. I know that these birds are relatively common, but it really was nice to see how the Daggerwing preserve has come to life this time of year (especially because there is water in the swamp), and it really is a great walk. I also highly recommend checking out the brand new exhibit hall. I think it's the most state-of-the-art nature center currently in south Florida.
