Angel and Mariel Called to say they were looking at the Tropical Kingbird and I should come now...
Toe had called earlier to let me know about the bird and we talked about if for a while. I decided to wait until evening to look for it since I was at work and mid afternoon usually isn't a great time to bird.
When I arrived I saw and photographed the Western Kingbird on the fence parallel to the road.
I then parked and found many TASers watching this great find. I got a good look but it took a while to get a good photo. The TROPICAL KINGBIRD was a lifer for me.
Larry's photo is great and I know that Carl Edwards got some really great shots also. I wanted share. I was able to get some good angles on the bird in some pretty good light.
Thanks Toe and everyone else who helped me pick up a lifer....
It was great to see Paul, Carl, Angel, Mariel, Rafael, Bonnie and others watching this awesome bird.
