Thanks for your post Chris, it does help clarify some aspects of the issue.

However, I too am ethically torn and concerned. Your last 3 points state this well; that FWC should further fund monitoring efforts and should focus funding for conservation lands.

I will certainly contact FWC; their web publications regarding falconry permits and regulations are too broad and lacking in important details. I am not satisfied.

I encourage everyone to send a letter of concern to FWC.
