...thought I'd further explain my position on this matter. Although the science really doesn't support our concerns, I do feel ethically torn, as a result, I encourage anyone interested in this matter to express their concerns to FWC. More importantly express your concerns on the following matters:
1) If a harvest is to be allowed, FWC should further fund monitoring efforts such as the Florida Keys Hawkwatch.
2) FWC should focus funding for conservation lands on keys stop-over habitats such as Boot Key.
and lastly
3) Your ethical concerns about the proposed harvest and its regulation.
