Couldn't agree more. Every time I come to the States I look for them and I've never seen one!
I saw a bird that looked like the one in Sibley once when I was in Toronto but Canadian banders who had just released it told me it had taken a chunk out of their friends finger so I think the "rose" patch was the unfortunate man's blood!
Keep looking. They're still more likely than Ivory-bills.
