You may not be too far off. I heard that some are considering the Rose-Breasted and the Black-Headed Grosbeaks as the same species since they seem to interbreed. Maybe they will change the name eventually to Northern Grosbeak (remember the Northern\Baltimore\Bullocks Oriole fiasco?
