Let me know if your artificial feeder works. They tend not to be very attractive to hummers in South Florida, possibly because there's so much natural nectar available to them, and they don't have nestlings to feed.

Remember that the solution should be 4:1, boiled first, and replaced every four days. Red dye isn't necessary, and is potentially harmful to hummers.
