Now PB; this disturbs me. Are we observing nature or controlling it? Yes the Least Grebe is unusual and maybe out of place and time as birds go, but the alligator is part of the natural community. Why do we want to remove the alligator? If this bird nested in south Texas it could have been killed by the hurricanes, snakes or alligators there or in Mexico. Can't we enjoy the beauty of the moment, see it as part of the circle of life and witness the arrival, fledging and death or migration as it comes in its course?

Removal of the alligator will probably cause more commotion than the effort is worth.

But, you do have good taste in beer...for whatever vote that is worth!
