Hey Birders, today I went to Naples to visit some friends. Seriously I went for the Birds. When we started driving by the Tamiami Trail I saw some Muscovy Ducks and some Collared Doves. I also saw a bird like a tern flying close to the Tamiami Trail but it was a small one. I'm almost sure it was a Least Tern. Might I be correct? Later on, I saw about 5 Red-shouldered Hwaks, some Anhingas, Double-crested Cormorant, and Egrets.
In Naples I saw a Ringed-Turtle Dove. I'm almost sure. After that in the neighborhood I saw collared doves, Blue Jays, Northern Mockingbird, Northern Cardinals and an awesome Great-Crested Flycatcher. I
In Marco Island I saw Brown Pelicans, Double-crested Cormorant, Magnificent Frigatebird and Egrets.
When I was coming back from the trip I saw three spectacular low views from Swallow-tailed Kites.
