Remember that juvenile White-eyed Vireos are duller overall and have a dark iris. Also, the keys race of White-eyed Vireo, V. g. maynardi (not that this is what you saw, but for future reference) tends to be grayer above allowing for more confusion and misidentification. Remember, Thick-billed Vireo is a big deal, lots of people would flock to that location if you are correct.
