Is that even possible?
this morning my insane dogs loudly demanded to go outside to chastise the golf cart guys from next door.As I was being trampled by "el loco", I saw movement in the gumbo limbo tree and went to grab some bins and try to focus.I tripped over Eagle Eye and she followed me onto the deck to have a looksee.FIrst up were at least a half dozen Gnatcatchers,a B&w warbler , several vireos that flew before I could positively identify them, a baltimore oriole and a bird I have never seen before. It had distinctive yellow epaulets on the wings and I saw some sort of vireo like eyeline but then it moved.EagleEye got a direct look at the face and saw distinct grey and white under the bill and thinks there was olive on the head area.I'm going back out now to try and refind it-I know its a lifer just don't know of what sort.Opinions , ideas would be most appreciated...
