Birded an hour this morning and found a decent assortment along the service road on the west side of Old Cutler. Best was an in-your-face, booyah! male Hooded Warbler that came to within 10 feet of me. Also had Louisiana and Northern Waterthrush at the same time. The Hooded and most of the birds were at the far end in an area marked by a pink tape. The waterthrush were near the few remaining puddles halfway down.

The List:

Northern Parula (a few)
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler (2)
Black-and-white Warbler (2)
American Redstart (outnumbered all other combined)
Worm-eating Warbler (1)
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Louisiana Waterthrush
Hooded Warbler
also:
Yellow-throated Vireo (3)
Black-whiskered Vireo (2)

Misses for the morning:
Muscovy Duck
Domestic Cat
Large Lizards (did see a small basilisk)
Panhandling Loggerhead Shrikes
Scared Cockatiel
