Horned Lark still present 08/24

Hello. The Horned Lark was present around 11:30 am today at it's favorite field (.2 miles west of 217 Ave on the south side of 384th Street). I scanned the mixed flocks of shorebirds (primarily Pectoral Sandpipers) in hopes of sighting a Buff-breasted Sandpiper or two - not today. Good birding, John
