Philip and I picked up Brian Rapoza at his home to take him to see the Horned Lark. On the first drive through we did not see the Horned Lark, a littler later we went by again. There was the Horned Lark on the south side of s.w. 384 st. hiding under a small weed, this was around noon. He was in the small amount of shade trying to keep cool.
Alex Harper called and saw the bird a around 5:00 p.m. He also saw an empidonax flycatcher at Lucky Hammock, he was waiting to hear the bird call.
