Considering it's an Aratinga, odds are it's an xth generation parakeet from the hundreds of individuals (maybe more) roaming all over south Florida. Miami Museum of Science has the closest bird rehabilitation center (Falcon Batchelor). Even though it focuses on birds-of-prey, they have several 'wild' Amazonas they're taking care of. Considering the non-native factor, it's safe to say they don't release them back to the wilds of urban SoFL. Since Steve is one of our 'veteran' birders, I'm sure he already knows what to do with the parakeet. My personal favorite: Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning - ask Paul, he'll tell ya.
