We finished off our day of good raptor luck, seeing both an Osprey and a Sharp-shinned hawk while running at Baptist (6:00-6:45pm). The Osprey has been a regular there for awhile (particularly between 7-8pm), but the Sharp-shinned was definitely a newcomer, and not much liked by the Rock doves and Mitred parakeets. The latter were particularly good at signaling us as to where the hawk was perched, as they would circle it and squawk intensely.
