Did anyone attend the meeting last night @ Barnes?
Before leaving work we saw an advisory for urban flooding and our Apt. happened to be smack in the middle of the area highlighted by the weather service. We were unfortunately flooded out when we got home from work. There was about 8-10 inches or so of water on our block and throughout our complex. It was crazy we had to park in another parking lot and walk through the water to get to our Apt. Unoccupied cars parked in the middle of the road with their hazards lights blinking, stuck in the waters that were up to their doors littered our area. Amazing how much rain could fall in such a short amount of time.
We wish we could have made it! Last meeting it seemed as if the city listened but we were unsure about how much of that actually got through to them.
