Yesterday while I was walking Sam (my black labrador retreiver) through my beautiful neighborhood of Shenandoah. we were attacked by 3 mockingbirds who obiously did not want us to walk through their territory on 16th street.. We also observed a lot of (dirty) collared-doves doing the nasty on light posts, bushes, and even in public!!? WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? When our walk came to an end in front of my house, once again we were ambushed by two angry female boat-tailed grackles who are probably nesting in the bush next to my front yard. Oh yes!! We also saw that neighborhood BULLY the cooper's hawk that loves to hang out at the end of the block. Boy I don't like that badger!! It's so nice to go out for a morning walk with Sam when the weather is still nice and cool before the sun gets high in the sky and makes himself felt. Well, it's time to say good bye you bird-brains.. & yes thanks for reading my post and don't forget to visit ol' beautiful Shenandoah were there still stand those old Miami houses that don't look exactly like your 49 neighbors at your NEW gated community complex.
