This male Red-Legged Honeycreeper is most likely an escaped exotic, as there is an exotic bird importer that lives in the area were the sighting have occured.
Be on te lookout for other exotics, as he has recently had additional birds escape. I have seen this man selling Honeycreepers at bird sales, and they looked in excellent plumage, no cage damage whatsoever.
