I went to Flamingo today to try to film the fledgling Pileated's.
A day late and a dollar short. The last bird left the hole about an hour before I got there. Within minutes a pair of Red-belly's were taking over the abandoned hole. Nothing goes to waste in Nature. Flamingo was still good, however, with Eco pond (now largely Eco flat) sporting some very photogenic Spoonbills, and a Stilt Sandpiper coming into breeding plumage. Lots of cooperative singing Prairie Warblers and great-crested flycatchers made for good videoing.
