I think what got me stuck on warbler was first the eye stripe (first thought was worm eating,but stripe and coloration was wrong, and then its feeding behavior, it was feeding like a worm, even to the point of flying up and hanging upside down to feed on small branches.
The bill was noticed for its shape as was the yellow undertail area.
I think this is the first good look I have had of a black whiskered vireo. Hopefully I will remember it now. :)
